South
El Monte High School created a Solar-Powered Bicycle and entered the 1996
Solar Bikerayce. This is a nicely done page with a lot of information and
links to other sites as well.
The
Solar BikeRayce page hosted by the General Motors Research & Development
Center and Electronic Data Systems has a lot of useful information about
the current race as well as previous races.
The
NREL Solar BikeRayce page doesn't really have very much information
on it beyond contact information for the NREL BikeRayce person.
The
General Motors Research & Development Center and Electronic Data Systems's
page for student activities includes links to information on other competitions,
including the SunRayce (a solar car competition for college students),
Solar Splash (a solar boat race for college students) and the Junior Solar
Sprint (a solar model car race for junior high school students).
